Lindsay White

Meet the Instructors

Lindsay has been involved with dance since the young age of three. Inspired by her childhood instructors, Lindsay became a teaching assistant at a young age, and began teaching her own classes at 17. In her senior year of high school, Lindsay choreographed a national award winning routine. For 13 years, Lindsay was part of a national award winning dance company at Concord Dance Academy. She continued her dance career at the University of New Hampshire where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in 2015. Lindsay had choreographed a piece every semester for their student choreography showcase and was a member of the UNH Dance Company for all four years. During her time at UNH, Lindsay also took aerial classes to expand her knowledge of movement into the air! In her down time, Lindsay likes to attend dance conventions, take master classes and travel to NYC where she has taken classes at Broadway Dance Center. While she loves to teach every style of dance, Lindsay has grown particularly fond of contemporary because of the diversity of movement.  Lindsay has earned choreography awards for her work and received special recognition for "visually stimulating" choreography.  Lindsay has joined the Boston Community Dance Project and is a veteran member of their summer 2017 adult company. She is so excited to be on this journey and to be surrounded by brilliant artists who share her passion. You can also find Lindsay sharing her passion teaching Master Classes for Summer Intensives throughout New England.  With already 7 years of teaching experience, Lindsay is thrilled to share her knowledge of dance and compassion for the arts with the students of East Coast Dance Complex!

Cristina White

Cristina discovered her love for dance at Concord Dance Academy, from first stepping on the stage at the age of three to her senior year of high school. At CDA, she was given the opportunity to assistant teach, choreograph and run classes which at a young age sparked her love for teaching dance. After high school, she went on to study at the University of New Hampshire, where she received both her B.S. in Family Studies and M.Ed in Elementary Education. She also spent three years on the UNH Dance Company under the direction of Gay Nardone and Mary Beth Marino.

Throughout her many years of dance, Cristina has trained in all subjects. She has found that Musical Theatre, where all subjects can be fused together to tell a story, to be her favorite. Cristina has choreographed over 45 musicals in the Concord, Nashua and Seacoast areas. She is the Resident Choreographer for RB Productions and has spent the past eight summers working with children from all over New Hampshire. Her favorite credits include Hairspray, Chicago, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Music Man and Anything Goes. She has been nominated for Best Choreographer at the NH Theatre Awards for four consecutive years, with a top three honor for Hairspray {RB Productions} in 2015. Most recently, Cristina began an independent musical theatre workshop to explore, play, and create new opportunities for students who are looking to further their dance skills to get ahead in the theatre industry.

Cristina is thrilled to be on this East Coast Dance Complex journey with her family. She especially looks forward to bringing her many theatrical and artistic experiences into the classroom and hopes to help many young dancers achieve their dreams.
